20th PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day Features Top Golf Companies and Educational Programming, at Orange County National Golf Center on Jan. 24

FRISCO, Texas (Dec. 7, 2022) – The 20th edition of the golf industry’s annual professional demo day, the PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day, is returning to the massive circular range of Orange County National Golf Center (OCN) in Winter Garden, Florida, on Jan. 24, and will feature more than 70 participating golf companies and widespread educational programming in coaching, clubfitting and range operations. The day-long PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day, produced in partnership between the PGA Show and PGA Magazine, will provide important education and product testing of the latest equipment and technology, and opportunities for PGA Professionals to learn from experts in coaching, clubfitting and range operations. The industry-only event concludes with an industry-networking happy hour.

The PGA Show, organized by the PGA of America and PGA Golf Exhibitions, will reunite the golf industry Jan. 24-27, at the Orange County Convention Center for the 70th edition of golf’s longest running and largest global business gathering. Following two years of business disruptions by the global pandemic, the PGA Show will bring together thousands of PGA Professionals, golf leaders, industry executives and retailers from around the world who will source new products from nearly 800 golf and golf lifestyle brands, attend high-level industry presentations, participate in education and career workshops, and connect in person with peers and golf leaders to drive continued growth of the sport and the business of golf.

PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day Event Details

The immersive, outdoor golf experience of the PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day will include extensive product education, testing and demonstrations, coaching workshops and clubfitting presentations, programming on golf range strategies and opportunities to meet one-on-one with industry leaders in a number of categories.

Golf’s most recognizable equipment and technology brands, including Bridgestone Golf, Callaway Golf, COBRA Golf, FlightScope, Full Swing Golf, Mizuno, PING, Srixon/Cleveland Golf, Toptracer, Titleist, XXIO and many others will be among more than 70 companies offering education, demonstrations and testing of their latest products. Coaching Workshops by the PGA of America

PGA of America Coaching Workshops return at a range-side classroom and include, The Importance of Relationships for Student Retention, by Warren Bottke, PGA Master Professional; Common Short Game Faults for Common Players with Common Solutions, by Todd Sones, PGA; It's Time for "YIPS” - Your Improved Putting Stroke, by Joe Hallett, PGA; and Expand Your Teaching Business & Give Yourself a Raise, by Gene Powell, PGA. PGA Professionals’ Fitting Center & Stage

The PGA Professionals’ Fitting Center and Stage will offer presentations by expert PGA Professional club fitters to provide best practices for players of all types and skill levels. Industry experts will take the stage with live programming and video presentations. There will be an emphasis on not just how to fit players, but how fitting can create better relationships with golfers.

Golf Range Association of America

The Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) returns to the event and will have enhanced programming on the Fitting stage. Additionally, GRAA award-winners will be present to answer range-related questions throughout the day on topics such as coaching, practice, player development, fitting/demos, operations and engagement.

 

How to Attend the PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day

PGA Professionals and qualified industry professionals can register for streamlined, contactless entry to this year’s PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day through event registration at PGAShow.com. The event is open exclusively to registered PGA Professionals and media from 9 a.m. to noon.  Registered golf industry professionals can join the event beginning at noon through 5 p.m. PGA Professionals can receive up to five PDR credits for attending the PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day and PGA of America Coaching Workshops.

 

All attendees are strongly encouraged to pick up their event badges, and ride the free shuttles from the Convention Center for timely access to the range – noting that there is construction on surrounding roads and additional traffic from multiple new neighborhoods since the 2020 event.

 

Attendance at the PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day and the 70th PGA Show is restricted to PGA Professionals and golf industry personnel. Attendance and registration guidelines are available at PGAShow.com. There is no event registration fee for qualified golf industry professionals through Dec. 15.  Beginning Dec. 16, PGA, LPGA and International PGA Professionals can continue to register at no charge, while other industry personnel will incur a $75 event registration processing fee through Jan. 23, 2023, and a $195 fee at the PGA Show through Jan. 27, 2023. Registration for the PGA Education Conference is also now open at PGAShow.com. PGA Education Conference early registration savings are available through Dec. 15, with additional savings available for PGA Members, PGA Associates, LPGA Professionals, International PGA Members and PGM Students.
