Christopher Smith is a PGA Professional Certified in Teaching and Coaching, a past Oregon Chapter and Pacific Northwest Section PGA Teacher of the Year, and an Adjunct Faculty Member with the PGA of America. He holds the Guinness World Record in Speedgolf having shot an amazing 65 in just 44 minutes carrying only six clubs at the Chicago Speedgolf Open in 2005. Christopher presented at the 2012 & 2016 World Scientific Congresses of Golf, and has been featured in pieces on Golf Channel, in Golf Digest, GOLF Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and GolfWeek. He is the author of "I've Got 99 Swing Thoughts but 'Hit the Ball' Ain't One" (Crown, 2007), and creator of the neuroscience-based "Better Golf" audio CD. Christopher developed the "Train2Trust" programs, based in 25 years of research, data and findings gleaned from top neuroscientists, motor-learning experts and human performance specialists, to optimize practice for golf, and other sports & activities. He is currently the Director of Instruction at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, OR, after spending nearly 20 years as the PGA Lead Instructor at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club outside of Portland, OR. Christopher has been a consultant with Nike, Inc.and Nike Golf since 1996, speaks fluent French, and conversational Spanish and Russian.
