PGA HOPE AT THE 2024 PGA SHOW

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is prominently featured at the 2024 PGA Show to enhance awareness and participation in the PGA of America’s flagship rehabilitative golf program for Veterans and Active-Duty Military.

Led by PGA of America Golf Professionals, PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans and Active-Duty Military at over 500 locations around the United States.

PGA Show Week activations include multiple program touch points across the Show Floor, a featured program on the PGA of America Industry Stage, recognition of those currently serving PGA HOPE’s mission, a PGA of America Golf Professional recruiting station, a PGA HOPE certification for Department of Defense employed PGA Members,  fundraising throughout Show Week and as the charitable partner to the new PGA Show Winter Jam concert, and special recognition program across PGA Show channels during Thursday’s “PGA HOPE Day.”

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH – the charitable foundation of the PGA of America.

A rehabilitative golf program led by PGA of America Golf Professionals for Veterans and Active-duty Military, PGA HOPE has helped thousands of Veterans and Service Members embark on their own healing journey through golf.

Veterans living with physical or cognitive challenges such as Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and amputees, among other challenges, can attend, at no personal cost, a 6-8-week instructional golf clinic, followed by a graduation, and on-course golfing opportunities. All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations.

Grassroots support by PGA of America Golf Professionals

More than 3,000 PGA of America Golf Professionals have attended adaptive golf and military culture training to be certified as PGA HOPE instructors. PGA HOPE is currently being offered at more than 500 program locations in the U.S. today, in 40 PGA Sections. In 2023 the program positively impacted over 11,000 Veterans. In 2024, PGA HOPE officially reaches all 50 states and will serve over 17,000 Veterans and Active Duty Military.
