Media Attendance

Nearly 1,000 editorial media professionals representing 25 countries typically attend and report from the PGA Merchandise Show. Reporting media outlets represent the full spectrum of consumer and trade golf media outlets, plus business, sports and lifestyle outlets such as: USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Fox News,, CNBC, Forbes, IMG TV (UK), Popular Mechanics, Chicago Daily Herald, NBC Sports, Orlando Sentinel, Ottawa Citizen, Palm Beach Post, Sports Illustrated, the Dallas Morning News and Yahoo Sports.

Golf Channel provides more than 15 hours of live coverage and SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio Network broadcasts nearly 35 hours of live radio programming from the PGA Merchandise Show. Additionally, daily live video reports, blogs and photo galleries are available at,, and national golf media outlets such as Global Golf Post, Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and Golfweek.

Media Registration

Advance media registration is now closed

Media may register with proper media credentials and photo ID onsite at the PGA Show Media Center (OCCC, Room W311).View the media registration policy and acceptable forms of media credentials.  There is NO onsite media registration at the PGA Show Demo Day – only media badge pick-up for registered media.  To register onsite Tuesday, Jan. 23, media must register at the PGA Show Media Center in Room W311 of the OCCC.

Official Event Accommodations - Media

Official event hotels provide complimentary shuttle service to/from the convention center and guaranteed low rates. PGA Show media room blocks are available at:

  • The Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando for $95/night. Located at 9000 International Drive, nearly one mile from the Orange County Convention Center


  • The Courtyard Orlando International Drive for $184/night. Located at 8600 Austrian Court, one mile from the Orange County Convention Center

PGA Show hotel reservations can be made here, select media category and use 'Media' (case sensitive) as your password.

Media rooms are limited and available first come, first served. Additional official housing accommodations for PGA Show attendees are available by selecting the 'attendee' category (no password required). Hotel reservation deadlines begin January 2, 2018.  Additional event discounts are available with Delta Airlines and United Airlines, reserve here.

Media Radio Frequency Guidelines

Using wireless microphones, IFB’s or intercoms?

All media (and exhibitors) utilizing wireless cameras, microphones, IFB/IEM, or intercom equipment are required to coordinate frequencies with Professional Wireless Services (PWS).  There is no charge for this service.  Radio frequency coordination reduces interference with live broadcasts and among exhibits hosting live in-booth special events.  Media are encouraged to request frequencies in advance by January 19, 2018, at   PWS staff will be site in the OCCC to manage frequency coordination questions and/or issues.   Advance questions regarding radio frequency coordination may be directed to
